Rachel turned 11 years old on Thursday (Oct. 8). I cannot believe my baby girl is getting so old so fast. She celebrated her birthday earlier this summer with her friends. We enjoyed time as a family this week. I took off the afternoon from work and Dave and I surprised her with cupcakes for her class at school. She got gift cards for her birthday and spent them on a Mario Bros. game for her Nintendo DS and a special binder for school. She is looking forward to cake and ice cream and a trip to her all time favorite restaurant with Grandma and Grandpa Anderson tonight.
